Gazing beyond the stars, deeper into the distance
Reaching far beyond, into the primordial existence
Under the starlit wilderness
In the vast halls of eternity
Roaming through the astral night
Into the edge of the written lore
Forward into starless abyss
Further away from the earthly shores
Under the gleaming night sky
Where the stars are born only to die
And the constellation guides us to the north
Into freezing rain, yet we still wander forth
Under the astral ruins, beholding alone
The reverence towards the ancient unknown
Roaming through the astral night, into the edge of the written lore
Forward into starless abyss
Further away from the earthly shores

Since 2007 I appreciate OCTOBER FALLS' atmospheric black metal. After a long break they finally return with another epic monument and their best album so far. "A Fall of an Epoch" is an album where I can easily indulge in. I enjoy each of the 5 epic anthems, which remind me sometimes at modern Russian atmospheric black metal acts like Sivyj Yar or Gherzen. Definitely one of the highlights this year! H.L.

A Pagan black metal masterpiece.
Folk and black metal elements fuse into one extremely catchy and awe inspiring album. This band does not disappoint from all the high praise sent it's way. Abyssius Murkraken

Icelandic Pagan Black Metal. Like many others here, I wish I understood these dark tales - all I can do is let myself be transported by the music & what a ride it is! I could not possibly choose a favourite song, they are all so good. I recommend their entire discography!!! bmurator
